1. Privacy Statement:
   As part of your application, you will need to read and agree to this Privacy Statement. Better Business Group (BBG) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information.
   The personal information you provide may be used by BBG to; 1A) Process your application for membership of BBG
   1B) Record your membership details and profile information 1C) Manage your membership of BBG
   1D) Ensure you comply as a member with BBG’s Terms & Conditions
   1E) Conduct market research in order to identify and analyse the ongoing needs of BBG members
   1F) Provide you with access to and information about a range of current and future membership benefits 1G) Notify you about BBG events.
2. The personal information provided by you on the application form will be used to process your membership application and your individual membership to BBG. Failure to provide all of the requested information may result in your application being rejected. You have a right to access and correct any of your personal information that the club and BBG holds about you at any time.
3. BBG does not usually disclose your personal information to any other organisation or person unless there is a legal requirement to do so. BBG may disclose your information to third parties that provide services under contract to BBG.
4. Agreement: You acknowledge and agree that;
   4A) BBG may contact your nominated referees in order to verify the information provided on this application form.
   4B) You have read and understood the Privacy Statement as set out above to BBG’s use, collection and disclosure of the information in connection with this application
   4C) You will comply with the Terms & Conditions of membership of BBG and will not:
   4Ca) Act in any way which breaches the Terms & Conditions
   4Cb) Abuse or misuse the services accorded to members of BBG by engaging in illegal or fraudulent activities or supplying or attempting to supply false or misleading information, or making a misrepresentation about BBG or its members.
   4D) The terms and condition of membership of BBG may change from time to time. Changes to the Terms & Conditions will be notified to members by BBG and a copy of the new Terms & Conditions will be made available to all members via electronic mail) Only one person from each professional category is represented in BBG. Approval of new members and the allocation of professional categories is made at the sole discretion of the BBG Leadership Committee 4F) If a dispute arises in connection with membership, the dispute will be referred to the BBG Committee for resolution. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days after the date when notice of the dispute is given to the BBG Leadership, the parties may refer the dispute to a professional mediator
   4G) BBG does not endorse the capabilities of professional expertise of any of its members and that the Applicant in choosing to conduct business with or refer clients to any other member of BBG does so at its own risk. BBG expressly denies liability in relation to business conducted or standards as between any of its members.
   4H) BBG acknowledges that certain laws imply terms, conditions or warranties into contracts for the supply of goods or services that cannot be excluded. Except as provided in any law which cannot lawfully be excluded or modified by agreement, BBG and any of its representatives or agents are not liable for any loss or claim of any kind (including, without limitation, consequential or economic loss or loss of profits) with respect to the breach of any of these Terms & Conditions by any person, or for any death or injury or consequential loss or damage arising from the supply of services, information and other material provided or intended to be provided in connection with BBG. Notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms & Conditions, any liability to you involving BBG, its members, agents and representatives for any cause whatsoever arising from the breach of any conditions or warranties, if any, or membership or participation in BBG or both, and regardless of the form of the action, will to the extent permitted by law be limited to the amount of annual membership dues paid by you for the membership in BBG. Except in jurisdictions where such provisions are restricted, in no event will there be a liability to you or any third party for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special or punitive damages.
   4I) These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. By becoming a Member you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland, Australia.
   4J) If membership fees are not paid by the due date and or outstanding fees are not settled within the dates of settlement, BBG reserves the right to terminate the membership with immediate effect.
   4k). If part or all of these Terms &Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible, it will be severed from these Terms & Conditions and the remaining provisions of these Terms & Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
5. KPI’s:
   For the benefit of the group and its members KPI’s have been set for each member of the group to achieve each year of their membership, which maximises the results for our members and their businesses. These KPI’s are to be reviewed by the Leadership Team on a quarterly basis and failure to meet the minimum standards set could result in the cancellation of an the applicants membership as determined by the Leadership team consisting of President, Vice President and Treasurer.
   5A) Minimum 90% Attendance by the applicant/member or a suitable replacement 5B) Minimum of 1 B2B with each member of the group in each calender year
   5C) Minimum of 2 referrals per month to any of the other members of the group 5D) Minimum of 1 guest per quarter
   5E) Attend a minimum of 1 Social Function per year
